When i started to remove the excess pin wash, I found that the jay-cloth wasn't up to the job, so i cut out a small piece of kitchen sponge and dunked it in some thinners. This photo shows the port bow pretty much completed. It's quite a long job and as I write I still have the rest of the boat to treat in the same way. Port bow with photo taken a bit further back so you can see the overall effect. A lot more work to do before this stage is complete, but i'm very happy with the results so far. That weathering effect looks so good. Such a large model to work on but certainly looking very good indeed. Happy Modelling
