I remember when I was a kid BBC radio did an adaption of LOTR.It was very true to the books and was absolutely spellbinding.

Up in the attic I've got a plastic box full of audio cassette tapes - I recorded the whole series when it came out all those years ago! One of the episodes was on the day we went to the beach - so the radio cassette recorder came too!BigGrin

Hopefully it will be ok.

I agree about the Terry Brooks stuff though - the Shannara garbage was the biggest let-down I can remember on TV.
I really was looking forward to it. 2-3 episodes in, I gave up.
Utter teen drivel.
