I was trying to find a place to post questions on building ship models. Technique and such, but all I could find was a forum to post photos of existing techniques you have found to be useful.

SO I asked a moderator, and got a response that well basically there is no such thing on here.

SO who else here would LIKE to have such a general modeling question forum, so as to NOT have to participate in a current ship kit build in order to ask questions?

Not sure who you spoke with but you have posted into the section of the forum where you can ask general ship modelling questions, hence its title "General ship discussion".

My apologies,

I may have been confused as to what this sub forum is actually for. A few questions related to building a model ship, and dozens of pages of threads about luxury yachts, and the state of the British Navy was a tad confusing to me.

I’ve adjusted the subtitle of the general ships discussion topic to this.... The place to chat about ships & submersibles - the real thing or models
