                Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me the final dimensions on the HMS Victory model we are building so that I can find a suitable sized box/crate to store the model in as I'm working on it.
  Many thanks
  Kev

Though its beam at 450mm is not the full width of the model, the Yard's make it even wider

Dont forget the overal length includes the bowsprit and it rigging, that in itself adds about 30 cm to its length.

Although tempted to keep out of this one, I'll quote the complimentary welcome mag.. "Actual size 1250mm x 850mm" That's 125cm x 85cm Or 1.25M x .85M depending on your viewpoint Either way - It's pretty big! (or large, ginormous, huge, etc etc). Whether or not the width includes the yards - which I can only presume it does (since it makes it sound even more impressive - like quoting the size in mm). Schnellboots on back burner
  Tools.

Hi, we're progressing with build and I am still wondering what size would be best for a display cabinet. Model is growing out of my cupboard now. Sizes I know from here are only length & height. I couldn't find a word about depth. Any final measurements for a display cabinet would be great. Thanks, Skipper.
P.S> I am still annoyed about the not creative frontcovers of our magazines. We pay for repetitions, repetitions, repetitions. Deagostini could do better..
