Welcome to my third must build of 2018. in addition to Mikasa and the Bristol this build needs to be done this year to, the reason, it needs to be built for my grandfathers 100th Birthday in December.
HMS Dutches has an important presence in my family history, My grandfathers younger brother drowned at see at the age of 19 when the destroyer HMS Dutches sunk in a collision in the first months of the war. later in the 19 50s my Grandfather found himself serving on the next ship to bear the name Dutches.
This kit represents one of only 2 ships my grandfather served on, I am still hopeful that an A class destroyer kit will come out one day.
This kit will be presented to my grandfather on 27th December as part of his birthday celebrations.
