This is another resin kit from the UK company UNCL.I guess it is studio scale, but I can find any photos of the filming model so I am not sure.Like Bills others kits it is mostly resin with some white metal detail parts. It is a fairly simple kit which can be built as sub assemblies and then painted.

Nice one...

Now, a studio scale Mole or Firefly would be rather good.

Most of the sub assemblies are now painted so final assembly can begin.

Getting closer now.The windshield is vacuformed and needs to be cut out and fitted and then I have to start weathering.TB vehicles were always heavily weathered.

So the kit comes with 2 vacuformed windshields.Unfortunately they are both cracked and are unusable.I am going to try designing and 3d printing one in clear resin.

Sorry I guess it’s called the Transmitter Truck. Couldn’t remember the name but remebered it had a sign on the roof that says LR3. I think.
It’s the same as the fire truck and mortar truck.

I have seen some scratchbuilds, but there is no kit as far as I am aware.

Windshield for the thunderizer designed and 3d printed in clear resin and then polished to make it clear.

And its finished.I do have to sand the windshield a bit more to get a better fit, but I am waiting for the coat of clear on it to dry thoroughly.

I made my own decals for the international rescue sign on the front and the fuel tanks and gave it a heavy dose of weathering since the Thunderbirds vehicles were always really dirty in the show.
