Hi Mr T Just a quick question for you . As I have been waylaid in hospital and laid up in bed I have fallen somewhat behind with the build could you please confirm about the uncovered T shaped section on the main gun deck as you appear to enter the great cabin .I do not seem to have any instruction for gratings for that area I see by your weekly blog that you are around issues 60+ Ijust completed the gratings further along that deck and was wondering what was happening with that areaa  i Have read through your build from there on and there is no mention of it would much appreciate your reply

I think Tomick mentioned it somewhere. It does not get covered up, and I believe Tomick said that it serves no purpose other than to provide a bit of access to anything dropped below. Come on you Jimmies

Other than it being a dropped item extaction point, it appears to serve no purpose, and the poop having been decked above seems to confirm this.
