Hi all,
Quick question. I am up to issue

garboard. My qestion is simply this:

I might be being dense here, but a little
clarrification wouldnt go amiss.

Jim I got confused over that as well, I was not on the forum at that point, so had to work it out myself, the thing that got me was the magazines refer to it as THEgarboard plank, not the Garboard planks. So in my stupidity I was wondering how to make this plank fit both sides, until I realised that as per the rest of the build its the same on both sides.
Come on you Jimmies

Thats great Jim, I was made to look a bit silly by the experts when I mentioned this before, but being a relative beginner and never having come across the term before, I felt the comments unworthy.
There is some great help to be had here, but sometimes it's as though you should have read up on all naval modelling terms before you ask a question, or give an opinion. Sometimes us mere mortals do have something to offer other beginners as we are all on the same part of the learning curve.
Come on you Jimmies

Hi Guys,

You should not be afraid to ask a question, we all had to learn by asking questions.
