Wow, that kinda sucks. Though the hobby world is changing. Quite a few hobby brands, especially in the RC market, that I grew up with have closed shop. HPI got bought by a UK company about a year and a half ago.

DeAgostini kit builds:

Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete
Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete
Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete

Indeed, Ripmax UK now own Hpi USA and Europe, the Hpi brand now trades as Hpi Racing..

Not sure if your familiar with Novak. It was a family fun business that made ESC”s for RC. A few years ago they just decided hey were done and closed up shop. No bankruptcy or decking sales. They were just done with the business.

Very familiar with them from years ago. Much the same with Verlinden, done with the business and destroyed all of his moulds 😱

yeah with 10 to 50 million in assests and 100 to 500 million on debt I highly doubt they will find a buyer.

Concerning for the future of Revell-Monogram in the USA and Revell Germany as Hobbico own the Revell brand. Hopefully Revell will be bought and live on.
