Good afternoon,

I have just been looking at issue 53 and testing my sensors and light sabre tube.
whilst testing the foot sensor, I noticed that the green LED always stayed on, even though the foot was not on the floor, after testing the cable and changing the batteries etc I realised that I had my modelling room light on.
The lighting in this room is halogen low voltage and it seems to affect the foot sensor, when I turned the lights off the sensor worked fine and when tried in another room with different lighting it also worked fine.
Has anyone else seen this?
All the other sensors and components worked without fault.

Best Regards

Keith

BigGrin Hi Kieth

From the updated guide it would seem the sensors are highly sensitive and could react to certain light in the way you have experienced.

The color of the surface will make a difference with the infrared sensors , I hope r2 does not have problems with my black rugs .
