The extremely rare Second World War tank unearthed in Dorking in 2017 still with a working wheel and original petrol has been is undergoing renovation.

The "Covenanter" tank was dug up at Denbies Wine Estate in May 2017 by Second World War enthusiast Rick Wedlock with the help of “Madness” singer ‘Suggs’ as part of the WW2 Treasure Hunters program.
Mr Wedlock approached Denbies in 2016 regarding the possibly of a tank buried on the estate and an exploratory dig in January revealed the top part of the tank - leading to the full excavation. It’s renovation can be followed on Facebook https://m.facebook.com/T18656/?locale2=en_GB
