Pack 4
This pack deals with the transmission and rear suspension/drive shafts of the car.
The transmission case can be built up as per the instructions but a wash with dilute matt black and white spirit can be applied all over. This will highlight the shapes and recesses of the case.
The drive shaft boots can be enhanced by adding jubilee clips made from self-adhesive aluminium tape strips.
It is advisable to add the jubilee clips after the boots are fitted to the half shafts, as the boot will stretch as it is fitted and any ally tape previously applied will split.
Again, the shock absorbers can be painted for better effect although the will be virtually invisible when the car is completed.
When adding the brake pipes and clutch cable, the supplied pieces of tube are longer than needed so cut the clutch cable to length once it is in place so there isn’t too much slack hanging under the car.
Leave the length of the brake pipes for now.
Fit the rear wheel arches as per the instructions.roymattblack attached the following image(s):
