Sincere apologies Malc, I normally comment on your excellent F1 car builds but somehow I've managed to miss the last couple of updates. However, I have just caught up with your build and have to congratulate you on what is fast becoming a beautiful build of a beautiful car, very well done indeed mate!
I think the M19C is one of the most aesthetically pleasing F1 cars ever to have been designed, such beautiful lines and I can understand why you've chosen this kit, I would have chosen it too, it just looks stunning in the Yardley colours.

Thanks guys. This is a very nice model to build ! You're right, Kev, it will look great in the Yardley Livery. Malc.

I had a bit of a problem with the wind shield . It's a vacuum formed piece that has to be cut from the moulding. I'm sure many of you fellow modelers are used to this but for me it was a first ! The material is very thin and in handling I managed to get a couple of "marks" on it. No problem...... polish out with micromesh. Didn't work and it went sort of dull .

You did a superb job on filling and smoothing the airbox joint Malc and the whole car is looking really good.
A coat or two of 'Johnsons' Klear would probably have corrected that dull windscreen Malc, but no matter, the replacement turned out brilliantly, well done.

Kev Hi Kev. Thanks for the tip on the "Johnsons klear". I'll see if something similar is available here. I can experiment on the old screen. Good info for the future. Malc.
