Pack 5 This completes the rear wheels, allowing the car to stand as it should.
Assemble the wheels as per the instructions.
The brake callipers can be painted to match the fronts if you painted those.
Yellow was chosen here as it is a colour used by Porsche for their callipers.
When attaching the brake components to the chassis, feed the brake pipes between the suspension arm and the chassis frame.
The pipes are too long as supplied, to allow for any variance or other routing.
Pull the pipes through the suspension sufficiently to take up any slack, but not to make them tight.
Gauge how much pipe you need to attach to the calliper and cut the pipes to length.
Attach the pipes with a dab of cyano adhesive so that they do not come loose.
Fit the discs and callipers, and then the wheels.
Make sure the wheel screws are fully tightened so that you have no ‘wheel wobble’.
Assemble the crankcase parts and fix them to the engine.
Once in place, the screw holes can be filled, and painted silver to match if you wish.
Assemble the heat exchanger components as per the instructions but remove the mould seams from the black hoses. This can be done easily by dragging a sharp blade over the parts. As they are made from black plastic, you will not need to repaint them.
Hose clips on these parts can be made from self-adhesive aluminium tape.
With the heat exchangers assembled, you have completed this pack.
Weathering will be added to these parts in the next section.
