A very nice start to your build Al, those Aires upgrades look fabulously detailed and should turn this model into a work of art, very well done
Like your choice of markings as well, thought about doing that one myself on my 1:48 Eurofighter when I eventually get round to building it.

Thanks guys. Picked up a great book for the Typhoon build, particularly the walk round section. Assembled some of the control surfaces and 4 sprues worth of weapon stores. Although the display jet was normally flown clean I will be adding a variety of loads to the pylons. Al Spal attached the following image(s):

Thanks Andy, I have given Rupert a primer/base coat and almost done the cockpit, just need a few touch ups and seat straps adding. Before enclosing the cockpit and joining the body together I needed to fit the canards and instead of following the kits method of adding a spacer type part and glue, I added the spacer and used a hot screwdriver to fuse them together. The fuselage halves were then joined together and left to set. The last pic shows the fin and rudder added as well as part of the air intake and just to get the idea of size the foot long ruler. Thanks for looking. Al Spal attached the following image(s):
