Stage 64

Contents:
7.2 V battery.

For this stage you will need the upper hull, the floodlight bracket[stage 31], the 'L' cable[stage 40] ,screws, tabs and hooks [ stage 60].

If you already have not done so place your battery on charge with the charger provided. Next take the ' L 'cable and insert one end into the socket marked ' L ' on the circuit board next to the turret motor. Now at the rear of the upper hull take the LED board wire and locate the two lugs, lay the cable flat and fix a tab over it with screws to hold it in position do the same for the remaining three tab holders. Once all the tabs are in place fit the end of the ' LL 'cable into its slot on the circuit board then fit the ' PL ' cable into its socket on the same board.

Take the floodlight bracket and insert the bracket ends into the gun mantle and floodlight , you may need to glue it in place. Next glue the two towing hooks into there slots at the rear of the tank lower chassis.

Take your track assemblies and with the hull turned on its upper surface fold a track assembly around the wheels making sure the central ridges are inserted into the center of the wheels. Use a pin to hold the tracks together then turn the assembly on its side and use a wooden block and hammer to drive the pin home. Do the same for the other track.

This stage is now complete. Store the assembly and any remaining parts in a Stage labelled bag.

Stage 65

Contents: Control unit, ' Q ' cable, transmitter and screws.

The ' Q ' cable is used with the optional Wi-Fi camera system details of its use will be in the running guide.

For this stage you will need the parts from stage 65, upper and lower hulls, fuel hoses, transmitter and screws.

Firstly check all the cables to see that the switches are in the correct positions if they are not then simply readjust and refit. Next looking at the hull base make sure the on/off switch is at the off position and the connectivity switch is on the ' 2.4 G ' side, all other switches should be set at the off position as well. Use two screws to fix the control unit to the lower hull. Now take the motor connectors and put the cable with the letter ' B ' printed on it into socket ' B ' and ' C ' into its socket. Do the same with cables A, D, E, and F plugging them into the control board.

Now plug cables H, J and G into there slots, then the three cables from the upper hull into sockets K, L and S. Next use the large tab to fix cables K, L and S between the two posts. Connect the battery cable to the last open socket on the control panel and then connect your charged battery to the socket and replace the battery cover.

Place the upper hull onto the lower hull but do not fix it together with screws yet as we will be testing the operating system. Make sure the connectivity switch on the tank is set to ' 2.4 G ' then turn on the transmitter the red light above the switch should be flashing very fast the turn the tank to the 'ON' position the tank will beep twice and then should connect to the transmitter and the light above the switch go a steady red colour without flashing. The headlights on the tank will be flashing slowly at this stage. On the lower left of the transmitter there are three buttons press the lowest button and you will hear the engine start and the headlights will show a steady beam. Try a few simply commands to check all is well then switch the tank and then the transmitter off.

Line up the upper hull with the posts on the lower hull and use 8 silver screws to fix them together then put the tank on its tracks. At the rear of the tank fix the tow cable to its bracket with a screw then add the three black fuel tubes to the fuel tanks and rear body.

Remember to download and follow the operating guide for R/C operation.

Congratulations your T-72 tank is now complete.
