PACK 5
In pack 5 we complete pod 3, and the rescue vehicle.
The majority of customising in this section is a repeat or continuation of previous work so adding text that is just ‘more of the same’ isn’t necessary.
Assemble the other pod wall in the same way as the previous one but take care to make any paintwork or weathering match the existing panels.
With all of the pod walls and roof completed, the pod can be clipped together.
The pod will be repainted and weathered much later, when the main craft is nearing completion.
The rescue vehicle can now also be completed.
Surprisingly, there are a great many parts to this model and it really is a very nice little kit in its own right.
As with the other vehicles, weathering is added using matt black and matt brown diluted with white spirit. This can be washed over the whole vehicle and subsequent layers can be added on the lower sections and particularly around and inside the front ‘bucket’.
The transmitter truck assembly also begins in this pack but it will be completed in the next section.roymattblack attached the following image(s):
