Hi Andy, thanks for your input. I am hoping you are right about the wing spar an dry fitting the rear spar. The first rib still looks proud so I will remove and re-seat. With any luck that should cure it. All good experience though This hobby is all about the learning curve. We all learn by our mistakes! However, I would say anyone thinking of subscribing to this model really should give it a go Regards Gray

Hi guys Decided to strip the wing and start again and am pleased with the new results. The rear spar MAY just have squared things up, but didn't want to get that far and still not be happy! I did wonder if it was the weight of the engineers squares twisting the frame. Anyway, on with the build... CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):

nice to see this coming together, maybe you could add a star date to the log so we can see how long it takes to complete your enterprise “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Don't know if i would have been able to sneak it past SWMBO otherwise Especially if she knew how big it was to become Regards Gray

Thanks for looking in Del BigGrin Here is this months's update. Stage 24. I don't know why, but it just seems an age since i last touched this build (actually, only a month-as per subscription), and i have to say i really looking forward to Mr Postie coming Love. Anyway, here is tonight's update. I know what you are thinking...'how come he gets to spend time on his build on Valentine's night', well all credit to SWMBO! Said' Ok just don't spend all night up there' RESULT! Love Love You've got to love the woman! Don't know why, but, so far anyway, the port wing is going together much easier than the starboard wing. Hardly any fettling required. If anyone is considering this kit, it really is a beauty. Just BIG BigGrin Hope you enjoy my update. Regards Gray CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):
