I suspect many of you are familiar with the cross section kits from the likes of Corel of HMS Victory that show a slice through the decks of the ship. What about a large scale version of this on a bigger scale with something like the Titanic? Showing all the details of the grand staircase, first class rooms, boilers etc. Something like this. A cross section kit in a similar vain to this build by Yutaro HONMA http://forum.model-space.co.uk/...aspx?g=posts&t=12969 would be great. Possibly a cold war American aircraft carrier

Thanks for the link Michael, that guy has some serious scratch building skills...
That was the sort of thing I was thinking of though, a large chunk of a ship showing all the deck layers and mechanics, all the hull plating, planking, portholes etc on the outside while detailing the inside of course depending on where the chunk is taken from.
I suggested the Titanic because of it's worldwide interest but it could be applied to any large ship.
Some Examples:-
RMS Queen Mary HMS Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carier QE2 Lusitania USS Arizona
