HELP One for all you modelling fans. Has anyone made any rigging jig tools for Victory. I would rather made than buy and be able to use on future builds. Hope you all can help Bernie

you def.need a pair of head magnifiers, maplins,cmb or even qvc.a good pair of sissors and cutting shears,a large syringe for glueing blocks and deadeyes,long nose pliers,and forcepts self locking type.and bags and bags of patience. their are loads of help to make deadeye jigs,just trawl through the threads. Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/

I made the multi jig used to build the hull and it can be changed quickly with other attachments to do other things, there will be other rigging jigs attachments used later these will be posted when the time is right, multi jig link is below:- http://forum.model-space....aspx?g=posts&t=812

As for the additional tools I will buy these bit by bit as funds allow

hi berni,I did'nt mean you to buy all those tools now,but they come in helpful later on,a pair of tweesers and sissors will do for now,all will become clear soon. Following on from Karl's advice, I have found the microsnips or rigging snips very useful for getting a cleaner cut on rigging cord rather than scissors. Rigging SnipsMike T

i bought the amati rigging jig about a year ago to do the rigging for uss constitution, but that project like others reached the mast stage and has stuck there. has anyone used this jig before and is it any good for our build?  current builds

thanks Karl, it looked more complicated to use than what i have seen on the other forums, will look forward to plenty advice from everyone when it comes around to rigging. i could not get the hang of knot tying and last time i ended up superglued to the rigging several times  current builds
