Thanks Alan - she needs a good sanding before the second layer of planking, which is very thin, so need to get it just right. To stop me going stir crazy, I'm going to work on the funnels, lifeboats and davits...and there are a lot of components to each of them...

It's been a while since I posted, and had some time to work on the France, but here's how things are... Second planking all done now... SouthamptonGraham attached the following image(s):

Then it was a case of adding the stern and bow resin bits. The stern was easy enough, but with the bow, the piece of MDF keel gave her a very blunt nose, so this was sawn off, and with a bit of rubbing down the pieces, gave a more sharp bow. It's now a case of sanding and filling, sanding and filling... SouthamptonGraham attached the following image(s):
