I can't help thinking though, with some people whingeing about 'Oh - another wheel to make' on the E Type, they'll have GREAT fun getting seat parts every other issue for 130 weeks... lol. Very nice, VERY huge - 690mm! Not for me though. Roy

It’s test had a lot of complaint about very visible black screwheads everywhere which now seem to have red heads or you paint red but still very visible

Looks like something one of the teams on 'Scrapheap Challenge' has fabricated. That's really poor and a shame really as it could've been a good model.

Same as the Panther model. Someone at Hachette simply adores visible screws. You may not believe so at first glance, but there's more than 50 visible screws in this shot.

Kev I loved scrapheap challenge.It was called junkyard wars over in USA and they ruined it when they gave it US hosts. Carl PS yes those screws look awful .And you know the red paint will chip off when you screw them in.Shame because it is a nice looking bus (from a distance)

As part of my London bus training I had to drive a routemaster and most of the panel seams were rivited. They have in places represented the rivits, but then put a screw nearly four times wider near them, which would liken the screws to bolts in that scale. If they think they are going to attract real bus enthusiasts, then I think they will be sorely mistaken. I won`t be going anywhere near this one. I was really keen to get this but now it's been mentioned about the screws I'm really put off. I didn't notice them at first but now I have I just can't unsee them! Graham I was drowning my sorrows. But my sorrows they'd learned to swim.

Well this is the challenge is it not gents, OK let's assume we are building this, how would you hide the screws or what would you use instead of screws.

I have been Collecting this for a few months now and have up to issue 12. I have not started building yet but I have been looking at counter sinking the holes and using Allen head counter sink screws that I can then fill over and paint. I am currently doing improvements to my modelling workshop but hopefully in the next few weeks I will make a start on this kit and will put up a build dairy to show my build. Regards Shaun Looking forward to seeing your progress with this. I had a idea that after you have put the screws in you could fill them with paint and then give them a slight rub down to make it smooth. I love the look of this model, even with the screws. I have fond memories of traveling on them when I was a boy living in London. I used to always try and get the seat at the front near the driver so I could watch the road ahead and the driver. Ah! Boyhood memories. I think I will get this, it’s a fantastic model, and will bring back nice memories.
