Hi all well all the detail painting on the hull is done. I've glued the cannons on the sinking side as when it's attached to the base I think it would be very difficult. Added to the base, need to get some more Poundland bathroom sealant now for the sea Ken's the name modeling's the game.

That's looking great Ken! Those old Airfix ships are going for ridiculous prices these days - well done on the Prince! I was looking at those old vac-formed sails (happy memories of my own Airfix 'navy' all those years ago!) I was wondering if you filled in the hollow part of the furled sails with white silicone sealer flush to the sheet, let that set and remove the rubber moulding then fill them up again and place the first set 'back to back'you might end up with a more realistic full width set of furled sails! Then again, it might be too heavy for the plastic spars! Love the sinking hull effect! Robin. First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1
