Thanks guys!

There`s very slow process at the moment as i`ve got litle time for modelling.
But here`s a small update of the now attached custom-made fore-chainwales.

Currently i`m working on the hammock nets of the poop deck.

A time- and nerve-consuming task!!!

Unfortunately there are two little steps in the height of the nets as the cranes don`t fit exactly the course of my bulwarks. But there`s no way to change that!

Finished the poop deck nets.

Looking at the pics i really don`t know why i used black thread for the bindings ??
I´m not quite satisfied with the somewhat patchy look it creates.

I guess i`ll try a lighter thread for the rest of the nets.
What do you think?

Thanks guys!

I think i`ve seen those tips elsewhere - but i just wanted to give some advice to those who haven`t built the nets yet.

When cutting the cranes from the Frame - leave a little pin on the underside.

Then you cut a little slot into the bulwark caps and drill a hole in the middle.

This way the glue has more area to hold on and the hammock net cranes are holding quite strong.

Hi Walter,
Lovely update as usual.
Good idea leaving the tip on the PE parts. I certainly will make life easier - wish I did it on mine.
As for the black thread, I quite like it.
Kind regards,
Garth
