Good to see your efforts, if you reduce the file size of each photo then photos will then appear without having to download

The last couple of pics, show the deck between the entrances,I did the simulation as instructed but I did not like it, so I used planks left over from The Endeavour and planked the area, I know you can not see it but I know it is there!

The next jobs will be to stain that middle deck, and fit the sides to the entrances in dark wood.

Then fit the keel. thats all for now!!BigGrin

Nice job with your planking MWG bet your glad to see the end of that, now you can constraint on the rest.I think i have a problem with the bow regarding the planking, as i have a gap which looks a bit tricky to get rid of,not to shore which to go yet,but looking at your pictures i hope mine turn's out as good.

Regards tf64.

I have now finished the lower centre Deck which should have been simulated (and I prefered to plank it)you will see before and after.also attached is the stain and varnish I used.

I also prepared the panels from offcuts from San Francisco 11 planking, which I mounted on black plastic card.

You will see before and after sanding.

With the exception of the figures and gratings, the item looks a dead ringer for the Mantua Carronade dio kit
