The hull has been joined together and the seams cleaned up then the 24 wooden porthole blocks added along with the rudder. Three sinkholes at the bow have been filled and after there sanded back its undercoat time. More soon. Hi All The hull was cleaned up then undercoated along with the paddle box parts,decks and various fittings. Once dry the hull was painted semi-gloss black as were all the fittings then the hull was masked off and the lower half painted with copper paint. The decks were painted in deck tan. The two paddle wheels were made up and painted along with the funnel and stand. Assembly started with the stand being fixed to the hull then the decks were added. The last things to go on were the inner paddle box houses. More soon. I would love this kit again I too built it as a youngster (actually I built all the airfix classic sail ship as a teenager) oh how I wish I had them now. You're doing great with it. Ken's the name modeling's the game.
