This was an all metal kit.Similar to the metal earth kits, but bigger and more detailed. This kit has about 400 parts. The metal is perforated at the bend lines rather than etched as in the metal earth kits. This makes bending much easier. The metal is also quite soft and easy to bend. The parts are quite sharp though. They do supply little rubber finger protectors with the kit.It took about 20 hours to build the kit.I made a base with woodlands scenics gravel and grass and Vallejo liquid sand. the base is 8 inches in diameter to give you an idea of scale.

Amazon.I was looking at metal earth kits on amazon and the MU kits came up. The Optimus prime looks really cool.it takes a while for them to arrive because they come from China.
