Very nicely done Andy, I like the fact that you've kept it ultra clean and tidy with no weathering, as a sort of homage to the good old days when models were built as they came straight out of the box, entirely by the instructions and when weathering techniques and products didn't exist. There's a lot to be said for a nice clean model in my view!

Well done! Cool ThumpUp

And to the same extent, some modellers don’t know when to stop. A weathered model is not always a show winner.

Well done Andy, it’s one kit I’ve never seen built Cool

BigGrin Thanks for looking in and your comments everyone.

It mostly went together pretty well apart from some minor fit problems but you can get those on any kit. Lots of clean up needed but as the moulds were made in 1957 they were getting a bit worn when this was last issued for the 150 year anniversary in 1988.

The ship was the holder of the blue riband twice for west bound crossings and twice for eastbound crossings something many ships captains would crave to own that distinction.
