Paul,Alan,Rich,Ken, many thanks all for looking in and your positive comments. Much appreciated. Ken, they really are fun to build, i think i fancy the train next Drool.

Prop Shaft, Steering wheel, column & Dashboard

Next we proceed to build the drive shaft (prop shaft). Straight forward push fit for all parts.
I think the steering wheel is SO FUNKY! It even has a, what i can only think of being, a ignition retarder. You have probably seen them on classic cars to advance and retard the ignition to make the engine run smoothly. If you're wondering how it would be used, check here:

https://www.hemmings.com...rk-of-Time/1627375.html

Anyway, plenty of wax used on the mating parts, and where it would rub up against rear of dashboard. Here is the result.

Hi Mick, thanks for looking in Cool I think these are going to prove very popular. Among the range are trains, clocks, musical instruments, trucks, cars, there's even a Royal carriage dedicated to the wedding of Prince Harry & Megan Markle!!!

Hi guys
Thanks for looking in. You're right, Alan, i am enjoying building this kit Love
So much so, it's all i have been building lately Mellow

Here is today's update. Basically, it's just adding detail. Secured the rear chassis beam, made and installed the cooling fan and motion peg. Next i fitted the radiator grille (think it looks soooo cool), and made up the bonnet louvres (which hinge). Upper dashboard made and installed, followed by the chassis out-runners.

Next comes the rear axle. Then she'll start to look like a proper car!

Hi Kev,
Thanks for looking in. You're not wrong there mate Cool
Don't know if it will be a 'photo finish' though, my camera's just packed up Cursing Angry Crying

Here's what i managed to get before it broke. I think the wheels and 'tyres' are really cool Cool . They are made up in 3 parts, just like the originals would have been. There's even a little tool to help put a dowel under the band Drool
You've just gotta love the ingenuity of this kits makers Love

This looks like a load of fun. The quality of the ply must be incredible to take the intricate shapes the wheels look awesome.
Man he took his time in the sun
Had a dream to understand
A single grain of sand
He gave birth to poetry
But one day will cease to be

Thanks for looking in Cool The ply is quite strong, you think it will break but it doesn’t. It needs very little cleaning up, just a light sand, and the laser cutting is very precise.
