Ok peeps here is my build, but before i show you any pics, i will tell you somit about myself.

I am a father of 4 (11, 8, 4 and 7 months) but can i use this as an excusefor being so far behind? No i cant really, cos it is not the real reason in this case. I am an avid gamer and am addicted to World of Warcraft, and this is where most of my time goes, when i have time to build Victory it is because i am bored of WoW and desire to have a break.

But so you are all aware, this is my first wood based model to build from so say scratch, and my first boat, but i am a modeler of many many years, (from airfix static all the way to rc cars both electric an nitro, to fixed wing RC flight, almost alwayss in a ready to fly setup( too much effort and time to build from scratch) but i have had to repair my flying models from time to time. (dont we all?)

I am a firm follower of historical fiction in the form of nepolionic era books from authers like Patrick O'Brian, and C.S.Forester, Alexander Kent, and most recently Julian Stockwin, all of these books i listen to( audio book at work) regularly.

I am well behind you all on issues owned, i only have 40 and had to cancel my script at about 34, due to finance, but still buy 2 every 2 months, I do want to get to the end, but will be behind you all prolly a year behind in the end.

well on with the gallery.

OK this pic is obviously the Launch, i am stuck with a hole about one and a half planks wide so i am gonna have to do some real tweeking to get then to fit, but it is too fiddly to do atm.

Here is a pic for how my build was for last 2 months. I drilled the decks with a 1mm drill to make pushing the pins in easier, and better spaceing.

My Anchor

Where i got to today.

I dont like the idea of drawing on the deck to simulate planking so i think i will make some doors to fit.
