I posted a diorama idea which features a schwimmwagen - not as a off the shelf suggestion, but as just a idea for a military modeller to scratch build - but that post has ended up here anyway... But it did get me thinking BigGrin

I'd love to build a large scale 1/8th schwimmwagen....

Not the same but Tamiya now have two 1/16 versions of the Kubelwagen Type 82 out there..

Yes Ive seen these - I do like Kubelwagon's but they dont have the appeal the schwimmwagen has ( to me any way ) and I know DeAgostini - Model Space could really do it justice with a partworks.

Its not a mass market kit as a Partwork, needs to be more iconic such as the Willys Jeep that's currently being tested
