The forward Gunwale rails are now in place, and I have some moulded brass strip, to do the trailboard. Still have to tidy up the paintwork around the front!! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor

I have finished touching up the paint job around the upperdeck, and used an air duster to clean up small bits which fell down to the lower Gun deck. Now I have started doing the front and shaping and painting the scroll/trim, which I have put in place but not yet glued, as I need to build up a support behind it! It will be a while before my next post, due to work!! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor

I have not done much lately, as my time and money has been going on my Land Rover Defender!!! I thought I'd do the Hammock stays, then I've got to start following the instructions in the right order!!! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor

Well I'm still not following the instructions, but will get back to them soon!! Hopefully you can see from the old photo of HMS Trincomalee, what I have been trying to achieve for the bow of the ship. I put in the heads as well!! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor
