The power cables sent for placement in stage 34 assembly are not a tight push-fit but actually are quite loose in the upper and lower sockets of the foot and only slightly tighter at the inner connections on the fuel cell. the opening on both the fuel cell and foot are not in anyway distorted or broken but appear to be normal as made. What should I do or should I except a fairly loose fit? If not what is a fault: the connections or the cable?

After everything is finished, I'm probably going to put a drop of glue in the sockets to keep them in place.

If you do, do not use any type of glue (such as superglue) which means you won’t be able to separate the connection should you later have a component fail.

You could take a look at my custom build, where I have used magnets to hold them in place.

Or just wrap a small piece of tape around the ends, that should give them a tighter fit. Both ways will enable you to take them apart if necessary.

I presume you mean the copper powerbus cables? I cant remember what issue 34 was.... I just put a spot of superglue on mine, holds them in fine, and still allows the foot to be dis assebled just fine. I know this as i have dismantled 1 leg in the past with them glued in place.

Going to leave mine till the end of the build , then just use a couple of turns of PTFE tape ... don't want to glue mine in , just in case for future access

Glued mine in at just one end, that way they can still be disassembled & they stay in just fine.
