Well I thought I would weld the doors shut and de-seam it

As you can see from the last pic it was a huge mistake it will need a load of sanding and resanding to get anything like a smooth finish (and that's before any custom paintwork)
Anyway I couldn't resist trying it on the chassis, I must say I'm quite excited I think it looks great, at least it's a good framework for a great hot rod.

Now that you've done a door-shut job, I think it would look great with a big chunk chopped out of the middle to make it a lot shorter.
Surely, not a big problem now.

This is going to be an epic hot-rod.

Trouble with that Roy is it has lots of knock on effects I would have to get rid of the rear seat what do I put in place also I have to align up the chassis not sure I have the necessary skills.

Hi all well I'm back off my hols and after a huge amount of hacking and jiggling I managed to make the interior fit.

I changed the centre pillar from leather to wood I like the contrast between the leather and the wood (I think it looks more luxurious)

Still got the dash to do, thinking of adding rev counter and oil pressure gauge, wondering if I should add a more modern Speedo.
