Well here we are again, covering issues 20 - 21 - 22 - and 23

REAR BULWARKS the photos cover from cutting out the two parts to fitting and then adding two strips of 4mm x 4mm, either side as support.

I have not followed the instructions to the letter, as I was always taught to build 1st one side then the next. In the instructions, it can be another week before you build the opposite side.

After fitting the 4mm I have to fit 4mm x 2mm on top of the 4x4 but more about that later.

Hi MWG...

The Endeavour build is bang up to date, it all looks very good.

How are you finding the material?

I personally dont find them as good as the victory, material.

Great build,
Best regards,
Ian

Hi Ian,

Thank youLOL

The more I build it, the more I feel the quality is lacking, the ply is cheap and twists, the bulwark thin ply is cut ok but then they do not fit exactly with out some final cutting or adjustmentsHuh

When I have finished the hull,I will hold the build and research more about the ship, because eaglemoss have cut corners with this build and it may require some enhancements to improve the spec.

But you are right not a patch on the Victory.BigGrin

We now carry on building the:-

REAR BULWARKS. Its time to fit the 4mm x 2mm strips tothe top of the 4mm x 4mm already fitted, its very straight forward sand ing as we go.

With this model you measure 3 TIMES! and cut once, heres how it looks

WAIST BULWARKS.

The next task is to fit a lenghth of 4mmx4mm to both sides, then another 4mmx4mm on top of those fitted, and finaly a half length on top of those.

I had to fit a small piece of 4mmx2mm just to fill the required area, and do not forget to rebate each piece of 4mmx4mm which comes in contact with the forecastle deck (It has to fit under the Deck ) please see photos.

Thats all for this post, please ask if something is not clear. thank you for watching
