BigGrin Thanks for looking in and your comments everyone.

The etch provided is fine and of different thicknesses the side wall plates being the thickest then thinner again for medium bends and even thinner for the rounded front of the bridge.

I mostly work from home these days so have lots of time to complete both work and other commitments.

BigGrin Hi all

After the hull paint cured inspection found still a lot to do so it was out with more filler and then another sanding back. I have also drilled out the port holes using the templates provided and filled the drill holes with pre-cut 5mm x 2mm brass tube included in the kit.

More soon.

BigGrin Hi all

The hull has had the bilge keels fitted along with the rubbing strips and some etch covers added. Next its more deck furniture starting with the central deck spine made up from wood and ply then covered top and sides with the deck plates. The nest item was the funnel base lots more etch added here along with lots of doors and wheels.

The next thing to be built is the rear gun station the carcase has been made up and the brass started to be added the top deck has been covered in plates.

More soon.
