Ok another little engine mod - this one IMHO make a big difference to the look of the engine bay.

the fan housing! I've shaped this to be curved on the inside as it is on the actual cars - I think the result is very pleasing and better than the rather blunt edged finish as suppled.

On to Stage 5,

not a lot to do in this issue as the wheels are wrong so didn't see the point in building them up.

however the bottom of the engine and start of the exhaust system is addressed in this stage.

the bits i've tweaked are as follows,

engine spayed metalic grey and matt black.
wheel disks sprayed.,
I also decided to spry the gear box to match the engine.

and other than building thats about it for this issue.

Yep still watching Rich BigGrin It's looking very good. You must have an awful lot of reference material for all the mods you're doing?
Keep the updates coming ThumpUp

Welcome to another thrilling update from the dank dark garage that is the Porsche Members build area - seriously though - thank you to any of you that do follow the build - I hope your enjoying it.

so onto pack 7

we build the passenger seat and complete the interior tub, including the rear passenger seats (which fold!)

we will also be tackling the dash board - but first the above mentioned interior etc.

pictures show the interior completely carpeted, I used the sticky backed dolls house carpet as recommended by Roy (thank you!) the tub was sprayed white, i know this will never really be seen but for me had to spray it to match the rest of the chassis.

I've included a picture of the templates I created from paper - these might be of use to another builder so I thought I'd post them.

well i'm off to start the dash board build - hope you enjoy this interior update.

Thanks
Rich.

That looks very nice indeed.

I am building as per the kit parts as do not have the skills or knowledge to expand on things but must admit i do like that carpet upgrade you have put in.
Happy Modelling
