Hi jonny! It doesn't matter when you start a build dairy, I'm just glad you have. I found it a great help, it makes you think what you're doing and the brake from building can save you from rushing ahead. It's good to stop and reflect on your work, keep the rest of us upto date on your build. Good luck mate!

Hi Colin...yeah. it is a terrific little tool...and as for the planking, I can happily say... WHOOPEE!!! good news mate, Im starting again as of yesterday (back to work tomorrow) but I wish I kept to the planks supplied arghhh!!!! these 2mm planks are taking forever, I guess it will look good in the end but I see NO END..

Hi jonny7england! It is a good little plane and a lot safer than a razor plane, you will be glad that the lower planking is done mate! I know that WHOOPEE!!! feeling.

Which technique did you use to pull that troublesome rib 15 back online?
This is the thing that's still holding me back on my build.
Your build is looking very good.

Tony Thanks for the comments...I have built up rib 15 where needed on the outside and on the inside where the top of rib 15 took an inward direction...I gently sanded it back, but always checking with each layer of planking that I applied...so far, it has not been too much of a problem..Hope I have helped???
