Issue 11 - Contains upper/lower uprights (right), plus right brake caliper diffuser, upper/lower brake air guides, upright fin, spoiler and fixing screws; and has instructions for attaching the brake air guide, upright spoiler, upright fin and fitting upper suspension arms to the suspension/brake units.

Be careful not to mix up the parts supplied with this issue with those that came with issue 10.

Start by attaching issue 10's air guide, upright spoiler and upright fin to the LEFT front assembly you have already put together.
When you've completed this, the parts supplied with this issue are used to repeat the assembly for the right-hand side of the car, which is a mirror image of the left.

Attaching the brake air guide - The air guide is in two halves. dry fit them to identify the contact areas, then carefully apply glue along the inside edges and hold together for a short while.
Test fit the air guide into the upper upright to check its orientation, apply glue and fix in place.

Attaching the upright spoiler - There are two moulding tags attached tot he upright spoiler, trim off the tabs and ensure the edge is flat/smooth, then dry fit the spoiler into place and when happy with the fit, glue into place.

Attaching the upright fin - Dry fit the fin into the left upright, so that the letter 'L' on the fin faces the spoiler, then apply glue and fix into place, (when locating the right-hand fin into the right upright, the letter 'R' should also face the spoiler).

Attaching the upper suspension arm - Take the left front upper suspension arm supplied with issue 3. Place it over the assembly so that the pushrod comes up through the two arms of the 'V' shape. Locate the hole at the end of the arm over the outermost of the two holes in the upright, above the fin.
Attach the upper suspension arm to the upright with a screw. The upright needs to turn with the steering, so leave the screw slightly loose by about half of a turn so that the upright can swivel freely.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the assembled and remaining parts.

Future issues:

Issue 12 - Contains four metal brake discs; and has instructions for fitting the front hubs to the brake discs, and adding the discs & caliper diffusers to both front brake units.

Issue 13 - Contains front & rear wheel spacers; and has instructions for attaching the front spacers to the front wheel rims.

Issue 14 - Contains the rear wing upper & middle and separator, plus top camera; and has instructions for preparing and the assembly of the rear wing parts.

Issue 15 - Contains the rear wing base, stays and fins; and has instructions for preparing the parts and gluing the wing stays & fins to the wing base.

Issue 12 - Contains four metal brake discs; and has instructions for fitting the front hubs to the brake discs, and adding the discs & caliper diffusers to both front brake units.

Assembling the front brake discs - Take two of the four identical brake discs and the two brake hubs you assembled in issue 8.
Dry fit the hubs onto the two discs so that they locate into the pins and fit snugly, then remove apply superglue to the pins and fix the hubs into place - Ensure you do not allow glue to come into contact with central collar area.

Adding the discs and caliper diffusers to the front brake units -
Take one of the assembled brake discs and the left front brake unit you assembled in issues 10 & 11, and also the left brake caliper diffuser (part #7 supplied with issue 10).
Dry fit the broad, hooked end of the diffuser into the matching narrow groove at the edge of the of the brake unit, then remove and apply ABS glue to the mounting position of the diffuser, then quickly slide the disc assembly onto the metal axle shaft of the brake unit pushing it home, then apply glue to the diffuser and fit into place.

This completes the left brake unit, the process should be repeated for the right brake unit, using the right diffuser (part #7 supplied in issue 11) and the remaining front disc.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the assembled and remaining parts.

Future issues:

Issue 13 - Contains front & rear wheel spacers; and has instructions for attaching the front spacers to the front wheel rims.

Issue 13 - Contains front & rear wheel spacers; and has instructions for attaching the front spacers to the front wheel rims and fitting the front tyres.

Separating the wheel spacers - The wheel spacers are supplied in pairs joined by four sprue's.
Take the two front pairs (stamped F), and separate each pair by cutting the sprue's close to the sides of the spacers, being careful NOT to cut the projecting pins between the sprue's.
You should end up with two spacers, each with two pins sticking out, repeat for the other pair of spaces but do not mix the two sets.

Attaching the spacers to the wheels - Take one of the front wheel runs and half a wheel spacer, fit the spacer over the wheel with the pins touching the raised edge of the rim at the spoked side.
Inject one drop of liquid superglue through one of the holes in the spacer, which should flow along the groove in the back of the spacer, turn the wheel so that the glue runs along the groove, and then put another drop into the same hole.
Repeat this for the other hole in the spacer, then repeat the whole process to make sure the glue spread thoroughly. Ensure the spacer does not move until the glue sets, then glue the other spacer to the other side of the wheel in the same way.
Finally, cut-away of the four temporary spacer pins as close as possible to the spacers, then repeat these steps to add the spacers to the other wheel rim.

Fitting the tyres onto the wheels - Take the left front tyre (from issue 2) and the right front tyre (from issue 5).
You can tell the inside and outs side face of the tyres by the shape of the bead on the inner rim of the tyre, - The outside face has a bead a step, whilst the inside face has no bead step, also the white triangles on the outside face should point in the direction that the wheel will rotate when the car is going forwards.

Match up the outside face of either tyre with the spoked side of a front wheel rim, align the 'E' in BRIDGESTONE' with the space between the name 'ENKEI' and the logo on the wheel rim, then push the rim firmly into place.
Check that the tyre is fully seated into the groove formed between the wheel rim and spacer on the outside, and that it is sitting evenly on the wheel on the inside, repeat the process for the other front tyre and wheel rim.

That's it for this issue, place the wheels into bags for protection and carefully store the rear wheel spacers.

Future issues:

Issue 14 - Contains the rear wing upper & middle and separator, plus top camera; and has instructions for preparing and the assembly of the rear wing parts.

Issue 15 - Contains the rear wing base, stays and fins; and has instructions for preparing the parts and gluing the wing stays & fins to the wing base.

Issue 16 - Contains the rear wing end plates and lowers; and has instructions for gluing the rear wing lowers to the wing base and attaching the wing end plates.

Issue 14 - Contains the upper & middle of the rear wing, separator and top camera; and has instructions for preparing and the assembly of the rear wing parts.

Preparing the wing parts - Dry fit the wing parts to locate the points where the parts come into contact, where you'll need to scrape paint off from these areas to ensure a good bond.
You will also need to identify and prepare the points shown in the magazine where parts supplied later on will be fixed.

Assembling the wing parts - Apply a very small amount of ABS glue to the ends of bot the mounting arms on the upper wing, fit the wings together so that the mounting arms fit into the sockets; apply masking tape to hold the wings in place whilst the glue sets, (avoid taping onto the lettering).

The wing separator only fits one way round, apply a small amount of ABS glue and fit into the matching recesses in the wings. Ensure the separator is set at a right angle to the wings.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the rear wing assembly and top camera.

Future issues:

Issue 15 - Contains the rear wing base, stays and fins; and has instructions for preparing the parts and gluing the wing stays & fins to the wing base.

Issue 16 - Contains the rear wing end plates and lowers; and has instructions for gluing the rear wing lowers to the wing base and attaching the wing end plates.

Issue 17 - Contains Left/Right rear brake ducts, outer/inner uprights & holders, and screws; and has instructions for the assembly of these parts to complete stage 1 of the rear brake units.

Issue 18 - Contains rear lower suspension arms, rear pushrods and screws; and has instructions for stage 2 of the rear brake units - Attaching the pushrods to the lower suspension arms, and installing the suspension assemblies onto the uprights.

Issue 15 - Contains the rear wing base, stays and fins; and has instructions for preparing the parts and gluing the wing stays & fins to the wing base.

Preparing the parts for gluing - Scrape the paint from the rear wing base to suit the fitting of the fin's and stay's as shown in the magazine, be careful not to damage the stay pins.

Gluing the wing stays to the rear wing base - Take the right rear wing stay (identified with an R), apply a little ABS glue to the end with the pins and to the respective mount points on the wing base, then fit together so that the stay sits vertical, then repeat the process with the opposite stay.

Gluing the fins to the rear wing base - Because of their shape, the fins can be a little tricky to secure into place, therefore use masking tape as an aid to hold these parts, and ensure that the fins are held parallel to the silver fin of the wing base whilst the glue sets.

Identify the correct fin and fit each in turn.

That's it for this issue, carefully store the rear wing base assembly.

Future issues:

Issue 19 - Contains rear wheel brake rotor holders, wheel shafts, upright holders and screws; and has instructions for inserting the wheel shafts into the rotor holders and attaching the rotor holders to the uprights.
