Issue 61
Contents: Microswitch, Switch mount, Seat cushion, Screws.
You will need the assembly from Stage 60 and the parts provided in this issue.Identifying the switch and plug on opposite ends of the cable.Holding the switch mount as shown,carefully fit the square body of the switch into the recess
in the mount and use the tip of a screwdriver or similar tool to press the switch down into place.The finished assembly should look as shown, with the button on the switch protruding just above the moulding.
Align the switch mount with the underside of the cockpit floor. Noting the pin protruding from the brake pedal,fit the two square holes in the mount over the two lugs on the cockpit floor bringing the switch button in contact with the pin.Secure the mount with two screws.Test that the brake pedal operates the switch button.

Issue 62
Contents:Passenger seat, Screws.
Taking the seat cushion supplied with Issue 61 and the passenger seat provided this time,press the seat cushion firmly into the base of the seat moulding.Fit the seat into the left side of the cockpit assembly from Stage 61 by pressing it firmly into place and turning the cockpit over, driving two screws into the fixing holes. Repeat this to fix the driver’s seat in place.

Issue 63
Contents: Dashboard
You can test-fit the dashboard across the top of the cockpit assembly as shown, but do not fix it in place yet.

Issue 64
Contents: Steering column case (top), Steering column case (bottom), Steering column, Control stalk, Instrument mount, Instruments Instrument glasses, Minor instruments, Minor instrument glasses, Heater control, Dash pan, Mixture control, Microswitch and lead, Screws
You will first need the dashboard provided with Issue 63, plus the parts for the main instruments, and microswitch with its lead.Use a craft knife to ease off the backing paper from the instruments, then peel it away.Take the instrument mount and lining up the central holes, smooth the instrument sticker into place.Take the microswitch, and very carefully bend the lead at right angles to the body of the switch.Fit the body of the switch into the square recess near the end of the dash, with the lead at the bottom, and the button protruding through the round hole in the dash.Line up the instrument glasses with the holes in the dashboard, and fit the central hole over the lug, pressing the glasses in until they are flush with the bezels moulded into the dashboard.Taking the instrument assembly , line it up over the end of the dashboard and fit it over the instrument glasses, securing it in place with two JP06 screws in the main mounting holes and a single JP04 screw to secure the microswitch.Make sure that you can operate the switch button.
Peel the backing off the minor instruments, as you did with the main instruments, carefully lay the adhesive strip in the recess in the dashboard and smooth it down. Press the minor instrument glasses strip into place, with the smooth side facing the dashboard.Taking the central dash panel,note the two lugs on the back of the panel, which fit into matching holes in the dashboard, hold the panel in place while you turn the dashboard over and secure it with screws. Take the mixture control, which has a large and small pin on the back and a single lever on the front, pressing the pins into the matching holes to the right of the central dash panel ensuring a flush fit. Repeat this with the heater controls, which have a similar arrangement of locating pins to the mixture control, using matching holes to the left of the central dash panel.
Now you will need the steering column parts, together with the wheel itself, which you assembled in Stage 3.Plug the smaller end of the steering column into the steering wheel, matching the D-shaped socket and gently tap the steering column fully home.Lay the steering column into the upper half of its case,fitting the control stalk over the pivot pin in the case.Fit the bottom half of the case over the assembly, and secure it together with screws in the two holes nearest the steering wheel. Turning the case over, put two more screws in the holes shown and then check that the wheel turns freely.Fit the steering column casing over the four lugs on the dashboard securing it in place with four screws.

Issue 65
Contents:Dashboard top, Grab handle, Glove compartment, Screws
Working from the back of the dashboard from stage 64, line up the glove compartment with the opening on the passenger side.Press the glove compartment into place and secure it with screws in both lugs.Line up the dashboard top so that you can fit the two projecting tabs over the lugs on the back of the dashboard. Secure the dashboard top in place with two screws.Taking the grab handle, and matching up the D-shaped pin on one end with the corresponding hole in the dashboard,press it firmly into place.
