Hi all, Just received my new pack of parts and when I fit the body panels together, the two are different heights. About 1.5mm difference. With the panels flush at the bottom, this is how they look at the top. Anyone else got this problem? What is the correct panel height supposed to be as I don't know which is wrong.

Hi James Can you see if the brackets that join the two parts are seated correctly if they are then reorder the faulty part for a replacement. Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Andy All the brackets seat properly, but I don't know whether it's the first panel or the new delivery which is the faulty panel. If I knew the height of the panel in mm, then I can measure them and determine. Thanks for replying.

Hi James
Mine are the same too, the right hand panel in your photos seems shorter top and bottom compared to the left one. When I saw this in my build I looked at the official build log for issue 70 and in certain photos it looks to be the same, it can also be seen in the build log for issue 72 if you look carefully. So perhaps all parts are like this?

Mine are like this but I made sure the top was flush because this is more visable Darren

R2 has gone together pretty well so far as you can see from the photos shown below (taken at Issue 91 with the panels and dome loosely placed over the completed frame), the end result looks good 
The slight 'step' will be minimised and not pose a problem if it’s distributed top and bottom, rather than all at one end.Tomick attached the following image(s):

mine are ike this too, i just positioned them as a 'best poss' placement, so it was roughly even top and bottom. i dont think it will pose much of an issue tbh Building:
