Thank you all for you kind comments.

Gray, I don’t have good eyesight, they are called contact lenses and a very large magnifying glass. Without them I am the real Mr Magoo.LOL

Many thanks Alan and Tom.
A little more done this evening. I have some photos of the original prop, and the throttle sticks have some webbing on them as shown in the first picture. I had a hessian sample used for blinds that I thought would come in handy sometime, it’s amazing what I keep, so I used it to bind the shafts.
The last pictures are them test fitted in place.
Thanks for looking.

Many thanks for your comments and support everyone.
A little more done over the last couple of days. I had been looking at the original prop pictures again and saw that the seat was completely different to the one supplied. So, armed with a cutting knife, sanders and some Milliput, I set to.
The first couple of pictures show how it looks on the prop, whilst the remaining ones show my attempt of using the Milliput trying to get a cushion look. I also cut the original chair part down and again filled the holes with the putty.
The final shots show it temporarily in place.

Thank you for looking.

Thank you for your support Ian.
Just a quick update. I have now glued the internal cockpit panels and attached the control throttles. Then, I wired the cockpit lighting, using enamel coated copper wire. This wasn’t as easy as I first thought, as it was a very tight fit and I had to use some blue tack to hold it all in place before attaching the upper half to the base. I have also put a small blob of Bostic UV resin to hold the cable in place, under the seat area, to stop the cable from being pulled through and damaging the internal components.
Once the two halves were attached, I then filled the seams with Vallejo putty. This will be left to dry hard before sanding down to a smooth finish.

More Soon
