Alan I`ll be interested to see what comes out of it too. This will be my first foray into the more modern military aircraft, albeit being taken out of service. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Regards delboy271155 (Derek) That's a bargain and great to see an F3 in the mix, also one of the versions of your kit is the F3 from No.111 Sqdn that was based at RAF Leuchars. Video of 111 Sqdn's flypast finale from Leuchars..

German officials have reportedly asked their American counterparts about whether it would be possible to turn the Eurofighter Typhoon into a nuclear strike aircraft. The answer to this question could have serious ramifications on Germany’s effort to replace its aging Panavia Tornado combat jets, which are certified to carry U.S. B61 nuclear bombs during a crisis as part of an inter-NATO agreement, and reinforces previous reports that the European fighter jet is the German Air Force’s preferred option.

WOW where can i get me one of those! More importantly, could i even afford one of those! Looks and even sounds absolutely fantastic. When it's that big, i wonder if you need a full pilots license

Now that's a nice extra incentive if you win. Your very own piece of a Tornado to display with your finished model.
I'd have the ejector seat if I won .
Competition starts November...On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Sad to discover that two significant Tornado airframes with distinguished histories in the 1991 Gulf War, ZD790/099 and ZA400/011 (aka "Scud Hunter") have been scrapped

Very sorry to ask what may be a stupid question with an obvious answer but for a gulf war variant would it have to be finished in UK markings please? Happy Modelling
