Hi there
I know it's been awhile since I posted any questions here for help anyway first
my problem was I had to remove the second plank on one side of the bow it was not curving right but when I was gertting ready to add a new piece of planking
in it's spot I notice there wil be fine thin gaps between the planks when all the other planking's are closed in what should I do is it ok to fill in the gaps with putty or find a piece of planking wide enough to fit in place, I will be painting the model the offical colors thank you

Hi Ronald, you say they are hair line gaps so sounds like they are very small. As you have decided to paint your model then it would be fine to use a general wood filler to fill the gaps, sand it all smooth. Once painted it should be hidden....Cool Cool
