At the stern of the ship between the the bulwark ends drill 14 pairs of holes with a 0.75 drill bit the holes closest to the bulwark ends should both be placed 15mm away the other holes should be drilled 20mm apart. Paint 28 eyepins black and then fit them to the holes you just drilled making sure the eyes are in line with the bulwark ends. Now repeat the above on the other side of the ship.
Next at midships drill 4 holes in a central line and spaced evenly apart along the bulwarks on either side of the ship. Paint 8 eyepins black and then glue them into the holes just drilled.
At the bow gunwale drill 8 pairs of holes on either side of the ship. The holes closest to each of the bulwark ends should be 15mm away and the others 20mm apart. Paint 34 eyepins black and fit them in the same way you placed the stern eyepins.
Take a grating that's already been made up or make one up and cut two sections 2 x 4 each then cut eight lengths of 2 x 3 x 300mm strip to frame the gratings. Paint the strips yellow ochre and fit them to the gratings. Next drill four holes in each frame with a 0.75 bit then paint 8 eyepins black and fit them to the gratings. Then glue the two finished gratings between the second and third row of gunwale eyepins at the bow.

Stage 95
Stage 95 contents:- Bowsprit parts, mast caps, yards, jibboom, eyepins, blocks and bowsprit plan.
Important Notice
From this stage forward, the numbers in the parts photos in the Stage PDF's refer to those listed on the supplied plans from Stages 95, 97, 101, 105. The diagrams will also be referred to in the steps. All details for parts needed are also listed on the plans.
Take the netting previously supplied and cut strips 7mm wide. Measure the front and rear bulwarks to obtain the lengths needed. Note for the stern nets you will need to cut four pieces per ships side. Starting at the bow glue the netting to the bulwark ends and the pins in between. The insides will take a single strip and the outers will be made of three parts one around the platform, one forward and one aft of the platform. Repeat the above on the other side of the ship.
Cut more lengths of net 7mm wide and fit it to both sides of the stern bulwarks in the same way you fitted the bow nets. Next take some 0.80 brown thread and pass four lengths through the eyepins at the bow bulwarks gluing the ends to the bulwark ends. Repeat this for the stern nets.
Now cut two more lengths of brown thread to go through the four midships eyepins gluing the thread ends to the inner bulwarks.
From Stage 74 remove the two bow parts from the fret and sand them smooth then file four grooves along the top of each part then add a piece of 2 x 2 x 300 strip along the top edge. Shape the strip to fit then paint the insides with the green you have used on the inner bulwarks and the outsides black. Glue both parts when dry to the bow gunwale with the ends half way across the forward port.

Stage 96
Stage 96 contents:- Strapping, bracing line, netting, blocks, deadeyes, bees, jibboom, martingales and studdingsail booms.
Take the fret from Stage 68 and remove the three chocks and sand them smooth. Next cut three pieces of 2 x 3 x 300 strip to fit along the bottom of the chocks, glue the strips in place then stain the parts. Glue the three finished chocks along the centre of the midships grating. With a 0.75 bit drill four holes in the grating frame in line with the two end chocks. Glue an eyepin into each hole.
Retrieve the launch and place it onto the chocks then using thread tie the launch in place using the eyepins to retain the thread.
Open the bowsprit plans and lay the bowsprit over them and mark the angle where the cap will fit and then cut it to length. Shape the upper end of the bowsprit so there is a square block that will fit into the cap. Next taper the bowsprit so its 10mm at the base and 9mm at the angled end then glue the cap in place.

Stage 97
Stage 97 contents:- Foremast and yard parts, foretop fret and foremast plan.
Using a 0.75 drill drill holes in the bulwarks at the midpoint between the gun ports then insert shortened eyepins into each hole do this on both sides of the bulwarks. Next make up three carronades so you have twenty in all. Cut enough 150mm lengths of 0.15 thread to service all the carronades then fit them to the gun ports starting at the stern and working forward. You should have 10 carronades on either side of the ship with a single gun port on both sides free at the bow.
Next take the 3 x 5 x 300 ramin strip from Stage 95 and using the bowsprit plan mark on the strip the length and the position of the steps. Proceed to cut the steps along the strip using the plan as a guide then when it is finished glue it in position on the bowsprit. Using the same strip of ramin make up the knee and again using the bowsprit plan cut and shape it to size and then glue it in position.
Next using the plan mark the 5 holes below the steps on the bowsprit and then use a 1.5mm bit to drill each hole. Smooth the steps and then use 0.80mm brown thread to create the bindings on the forward three holes.

Stage 98
Stage 98 contents:- Foremast yard parts, Wire, crosstrees, deadeyes and blocks.
With a 5mm bit drill two holes one centrally in the white bow ribbon 10mm away from the stem and then drill one directly below it centrally in the black ribbon. Measure 10mm across from the lower hole just drilled to make three holes at the bow. Repeat the above on the other side of the bow.
Next take the frets saved from Stages 62 and 69 remove the parts and sand them smooth. Assemble the rails to the bulwarks making a left and right hand and then add a strip across the top using lengths of 2 x 5 x 300 strip. Paint all the assembled parts black and store then until there needed.
Take the fairlead from Stage 95 and cut it in half then using the bowsprit plan mark off the positions of the seven holes and then drill all seven using a 1mm bit. Glue the prepared fairlead to the bowsprit. Next cut six lengths of 2 x 2 mm strip and make the cleats then make up the bee blocks and bee's. Mark there positions and glue all the assembled parts in place on the bowsprit.
Next use the 6mm ramin dowel the make the jib boom, using the bowsprit plan cut and shape the boom until they both match. You will next need to shape the upper hole in the bit to the correct angle so the jib boom can pass through it. When everything fits glue the jib boom to the bowsprit assembly. Now cut and shape the martingales to match the plan and glue them together at the top.
