Hi all when i look in the mirror i see myself as a bit of a "honey bunny"
A cross between Robert Redford Paul Newman & with my sqinty eye a bit of Clint Eastwood when the mood takes me PUNK
In the camera i come back to reality and resemble Golams uglier brother except i've got a wee bit more hair just
Fair enough Point i am trying to make is there are loads of good looking models in the diaries BUT how did you achieve it
I find it a bit disheartening when someone puts up a beautifully finished hull but fails to omit that in order to achieve it it took many hours of hard work and patience (unless they are one of the few ones who get it right 1st time)
First layer of my planking looks OK 2nd layer does not look as smooth as pictures on forum Therefore i have done something wrong
Luckily in my build preference i have a "sea daddy" who used to put up step by step stages of the build which i can take confidence in as it will be all right once sanded etc what ever happened to the "Warts and All" build diary

know what you mean mate,I used to tell women I was a rob redford lookalike, now I tell them them I'm quasimodo's brother and he's the good looking one,now I tell the truth,5' 2" tall, wooden leg,1 good eye, bald and lost me teeth in the last war.back to wart's an all'.take a good look at my build, there's a few warts and a load of co** up's,but I soldiered on and put most right, and we see three of four builders put up pics of perfect builds and it's there first, make me sick and want to pack it in,but no way,I'm proud of mine warts an all.and I hope you will too budge.so keep going to the bitter end,I know I will. Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/
