Hi, Thanks Spencer, first time trying this, well not quite a full sheet and yep i made some mistakes BigGrin. Tried to do it all in one go but a to complicated shape, then did it a again and still weren't happy so ended up doing it in two sections, i'm going to clear lacquer all my carbon parts. clear smoke sounds interesting

Clear smoke is the best way to go, as I think the carbon effect seems a bit harsh, and may need toning down. Well done though tricky pieces to put the transfers on.

Hi, I can't remember which one it is, TS-71, or X19. The reason I said use clear smoke is when you see carbon fiber it looks black till you get close, when there's to much detail, as there is with many of the carbon fiber decals, it just looks false. As the model is gonna cost about £650 and your gonna mod it, it's worth doing it well. Keep it up bud your doing a good job.

Hi. Cracking job there mate!! I'm. Middle of doing this myself! Need to smoke the decals but I was struggling to find clear smoke in spray form. Where did you get the paints from? I was looking for clear smoke x-19. Might have to steal your idea and use those paints. Blushing
I did consider brushing on the x-19 clear smoke. Thought any minor brush strokes would add to carbon effect?? Probably a bad idea! Lol.
If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!
