Hello everyone, How are things? well after about two years in storage I decided to pull the stored model out and complete it, Yeah yeah I know, life and work gets in the way. I was so close to finishing it but this time i'm determined.I started with episode 29 or 149 depending on which way you look at it, finished the bulwarks, timberheads, pin rails and kevels and also made the main mast pin rails, I didnt paint the belaying pins, personal choice really. I also started 150 and attached the wriggles and fenders and did the mouldings and scrolls, Used a filed down toothpick for the circular scrolls which is hard to do and had issues with the mouldings as the curves kept breaking hence mine look straighter.I painted the entry ports then used a gold coloured texture to enhance the mouldings, the result was a lot neater than painting them on, Im extremely pleased with the end result, Im away on holidays soon so i should be able to finish everything else off when I get back. Im currently working on the side ladders but I should have some more photos for you on my next installment. PS I suck at sewing so I have to thank my other half for her exploits in doing the rolled hammocks, she has done about half of them. Talk again soon and apologies for my slackness Cheers Tigershark Tigershark attached the following image(s): Cheers Tony
