Amati have finally released their multimedia kit of the Orient Express Sleeping Car. Mine just arrived and I made a short unboxing video.

Looks like an awesome kit.Pretty pricey over here though and there is only one store currently carrying it (Ages of Sails) and they charge top dollar for everything.look forward to watching your build diary of this one.

This is defiantly a kit I cannot wait to get my teeth stuck into. there was some video of the test build on the Amati site but they appear to have been taken down?. some skills needed the roof is etch that needs rolling into shape.

lots of very fine detail, would like to get my hands on a set of instructions see what could be improved although Amiti seem to have nailed this one Drool Drool Drool Drool Drool Drool

The instructions are on a whole other level. Think Deagostini levels of detail, but with artwork and design that turns them into coffee table books really.

Yeah, but it's worth every cent <3

It's immensely partionable btw. You know, if someone were inclined to split it up into a partwork. One wouldn't even have to do a lot of rewriting instructionswise. Also, Amati aren't all that happy with you know who anymore.

I like your thinking, but would imagine the monthly cost would be too high or term too long to make it viable Mellow

One day maybe....
