Its quite amazing what can be done with a bit of card, although I'll wager that the rigging is still made of thin twine and those masts are suspiciously free of scoremarks too.. some of the deck features look a little bit 'wooden', but I guess that with plenty of sanding sealant (to effectively plasticise the card, allowing the modeller to carve complex curves) it would be possible. Pretty darn good for a card kit nonetheless. I think I'll stick with my wooden model though. Schnellboots on back burner

I was very interested in the idea of HMS Victory made from card, so I did a little searching and came across this http://modelshipworld.com/phpBB...der=asc&&start=0 Hopefully you'll find it as facinating as I did. Well here is one of my in-betweenies!! Its a 1:225 Revel model of "Victory". Finnished this deck, the two halves of the hull to paint next, and then a lot of trimming and messing about to get the decks and the hull halves to meet up properly!!

"... a lot of trimming and messing about to get the decks and the hull halves to meet up properly!!" You sure that's not an Airfix kit you got there. Revel used to be better than that!
